Estimates are entirely too high. Had company give estimate to temporarily remove and reinstall a 12 panel solar system on my lake house in Somerset. The two representatives gave me two different prices. One said the cost would be $6000.00. The other said they recently did a similar job on another system slightly larger than mine for $4500.00. Both prices are way more than other solar companies gave me. Yellow Dwarf Solar in Somerset quoted me a price of $1800.00 to remove and reinstall system. This quote is in line with the insurance company's estimate of $1900.00 to remove and reinstall system. JM Roofing company quoted me $2400.00 to remove and reinstall the system. $4500 to $6000 is way too high. Had the company's quote been reasonable I would have given them the job as I suspect they would do a good job but don't know for sure. I will likely give the job to Yellow Dwarf Solar unless Solar Energy Solutions, the company that installed the system gives me a better quote when their estimate comes in. I am sorry that I could not hire Wilderness Trace Solar but it pays to get several estimates

The best there is for solar. They really know their stuff when it comes to anything solar especially panels/installs. Communication is great and customer service is too.

Have been trying to work with John on solar for residence. Says he will get back and doesn’t. Don’t let him know you are an independent or even Republican because he will get all up on politics and never to hear from him.
